What happens to your details

What the enquiry form asks for

• Your name and phone number, so we can ring you back.
• Your email, if you choose to give it.
• Your suburb, the kind of job, and the trades' start date if you have one.
• What needs to go, in your own words.
• If you used the renovation planner, a short summary of your answers, so you don't have to type them again.

The form also sends the page you sent it from. If you reached the site through a tagged link, such as an ad, it sends that tag and the site you came from too.

What we do with it

We use your enquiry to ring you back, look at the load and agree the price. If another local rubbish-removal crew is better placed to do your job, we may pass your enquiry to them so they can. We don't sell your details, and we won't add you to a mailing list: there isn't one.

Keeping spam out

The form has one hidden field that people never see and spam programs tend to fill in. An enquiry with that field filled in is thrown away. It asks nothing of you.

While you're on the site

• We count page visits: which page, the site that sent you, your country, and whether you're on a phone, tablet or computer. No cookie is set to do it, and the count isn't tied to your name.
• If a page breaks in your browser, it sends us a short error report so we can fix it.
• A tag from a tagged link is kept in your browser until you close the tab, so an enquiry you send a few pages later still carries it.
• If you tick items on the room checklist, the ticks are saved in your browser so they are still there next time. They never leave your device, and Clear ticks removes them.
• We don't use advertising cookies, and there's no newsletter to sign up to.

Seeing or deleting what we hold

Send us a message through the enquiry form. "Something else" is already picked; say what you'd like. We can tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Use the same name and phone number as before so we can find it.
